Background
Carl C. Pohle is a life long native of St. Louis, Missouri. He has been practicing law in the St. Louis metropolitan area for over 30 years.
He attended the Clayton School District until his graduation in 1979. He received his B.A. degree in Economics from the University of Michigan in 1983 and his Juris Doctoris degree from the St. Louis University School of Law in 1986. He continued his education through the Masters of Law program at Washington University, studying advanced topics such as Estate Planning and Drafting, Federal Income Taxation and ERISA Law (federal retirement laws).
Carl began his legal career in 1986 at the large St. Louis law firm of Evans & Dixon. He left Evans & Dixon in 1995, and then worked with other, well known St. Louis law firms. He later established his own law firm of Carl C. Pohle, Attorney at Law, where he remains today.
He is licensed to practice law in Missouri and Illinois. He is a member in good standing of the Missouri Bar and the Illinois Bar.

Carl has extensive experience in preparing Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney for financial and healthcare purposes and Living Wills.
He has comprehensive experience in handling all types of Probate matters (from small to extremely large Estates) as well as simple and complex Trust Administration matters.
He also has broad experience in numerous aspects of Business Law matters and Real Estate transactions.
Continuing Knowledge of the Law
Carl stays up to date with always changing state and federal laws. He regularly attends scholarly lectures and seminars to refresh and expand his legal skills. He has always exceeded the minimum Bar requirements for continuing legal education and ethics.
